What we collect, and what we do with it.

Written to be read. Last updated September 6, 2026.

We work from public sources. We never handle patient information.

TrueStanding is a service for treatment programs and behavioral-health providers. Everything we look at is public: your website, public directories, official registries, and what AI assistants say when asked about you. We never ask for, accept, or store information about patients, and our forms refuse it.

What we collect from you. When you ask for a report, we keep the program name, state, website, your work email, your role and your answer about licensing. When you use your file, we keep what you enter about your organization: locations, services, staff roles, licenses, insurance, contacts.

What we collect on our own. The public pages and listings we read about your program, the answers AI assistants give about it, and the findings we write from those. We record when your report is opened and when you sign in, so a person can follow up.

What we do with it. We prepare your report, keep your file, and, only after you approve it, publish the parts you choose. We email you about your report and your file. We do not sell your information and we do not share it with advertisers.

Who sees it. You, and the TrueStanding people preparing your report and checking sources. Our providers process it on our behalf: Cloudflare (hosting and storage), Resend (email), and the AI providers we ask questions of (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google), who receive the public information about your program and nothing about you personally beyond the program name.

Your choices. Ask us to correct anything, to stop emailing you, or to delete your request and file. Reply to any email from us, or write to the address on the report. Published pages come down when you ask; the record of what was published is kept so we can show what was true when.

Cookies. One sign-in cookie when you open your file. No advertising cookies.
